The facility is disgusting, dirty, the staff has no concern for the patients. Dirty pamper on floor the smell body matter through the building. Dust so thick of furnishings that you could write your name, pampers on the floor no waste baskets in the room and staff could not find my mother in the system because that forgot to enter her as admission. My mother was put in a room of someone that had passed away and was told that the person that had died over a month. The bathrooms don’t work properly.Shadyside wellness and rehabilitation should be Closed. I’ll be reporting them to Heath Department and to the Department of Aging! Something must be done!

I worked here in 2011 for one year. It was my first job straight out of nursing school. I recently just returned and it feels like home. A lot of the staff here are still the same and it feels like i never left. Great Pay. Great flexibility. Great residents. Currently in nursing for my RN and they are very accommodating! Everyone is really hands on and this DON & Administrator are as well which is really rare !

The only thing worse than the attitudes and moral of the employees here, is the disgustingly filthy floors and walls. I am always tempted to help clean or mop, it's really that bad. The employees openly complain about the residensy, and after one step into the building a depressive wave of despair hits you. It's just sad. And dirty. And the employees do not CARE for the patients. Stay away.

I visited this facility over the weekend and was greeted by the facility Administrator, yes on a weekend. I have a friend here who is well cared for and calls this his home. The atmosphere was friendly and I can see improvements being made. To the staff here, thank you for all you do to make people feel welcome and loved.

The staff is really nice. They take care of their patients very well. Sometimes I don’t like the meals, but they rectify the issues quickly. There are various activities for the residents to partake it. The physical therapy department is outstanding with getting us what we needs to live our best quality of life.
