The staff at this center is very exquisite, one of the better ones I’ve seen around. There is one issue i saw recently, mind you I don’t know if this was one time thing or not. But there was this one lady who was filing out what seemed like menus, was very verbally agressive to one of the older gentleman.

After experiencing a traumatic experience repair of a broken femur, a shattered shoulder with a fractured humerus , broken ribs, and wounded ankle, I was transported to Brookmont. Within a month of their crack therapeutic staff care, I was walking, without a cane, and had partial use of my broken arm and shattered shoulder. Their nursing staff was first class and their food was plentiful and tasty. Even though it will take about three more years for me to regain full use of my arm, I will never forget the fantastic treatment and support that I got from them.

Horrible Place!! DO NOT USE!! My dear Mom died there due to neglect of staff and nursing! Medication was refused and dispensed with irregularities beginning and ending with nurses schedules face to face. No response to patient request for help or via call button. Attempted to persuade my mother to sign a “DNR” document against her wishes. One small dirty bathroom shared between two rooms/four patients. No ADA grab bars. Nasty unacceptable food. My mother suffered cardiac issue and nurses could not perform CPR or RESCUE BREATHING CORRECTLY! uncaring non emergency response, Expired pads on AED Machine, crash cart suctioning device inoperable. Nurses attempted CPR compression while my mother was on bed without back board. Very long response time via 911 EMS West End ambulance whom were also very young inexperienced volunteers. Brookmont administration NEVER followed up with my family ever after my Mother’s passing at their negligent facility. I’m suing them accordingly!!! DO NOT PLACE A LOVED ONE IN THIS HORROR HOUSE!! RUN AWAY QUICKLY!! I’m so very sorry I placed my dear sweet Mom there who was just in need of some strengthening and was not that seriously Ill until attended Brookmont -ultimately passing away from neglect. Very very bad place!! Total nightmare!!

Many changes have happened at Brookmont Healthcare Center since Guardian Eldercare took over the building from leadership to renovations. I would strongly suggest visiting the building before determining if appropriate for your loved one. They are the best in Monroe County!

Worked here. Wasn't a good experience. Not very professional, not up to fire codes, not able to keep a steady staff. Owner is a tightfist. Old building should be completely renovated.
