Nice friendly staff and residents. A home away from home. Good food and great rehab. We will miss everyone when my husband is finally discharged. I am so glad we spent time here at The Gardens.-Judy and Clint Llauget

I didn’t understand the reviews on here. The facility was incredibly clean and my father was being taken very Good care of. There was no smell of urine at all.

Most nursing homes hire as little help as possible, and charge the elderly (and medicare) hundreds of dollars a day to stay there laying in urine. They make sure they have a full staff to care for the residents ONLY DURING THE TIME THE STATE COMES IN to inspect. Please file a complaint to have more staff in place to care for these sweet elderly folks. They have lived through history and they are worth SO much!!!!

I was fired for leaving after finding out there was a death of a close relative. They didn't care that I wasn't emotionally capable to perform the work, they just wanted a body to fill the space. Sat at dinner with 7 other aids when a resident started choking. Only myself and one other aid helped as the other 5 aids sat there watching. Don't send your loved ones here if you want them to receive eithical and proper care. p.s. It is now meadows at Gettysburg with the same staff.
